Warranty

All STIHL products purchased online will be issued a STIHL warranty.

1. Tools used for home/farming applications receive a 2 year warranty. Double the warranty for petrol products to 4 years by adding HP Ultra Oil (minimum 1L) to your purchase.

2. Tools used in a professional application receive a 6 month warranty

3. STIHL Polymer Bodied/decked Lawnmowers receive a 10 year warranty on the polymer body (not associated parts) the handle and the catcher.

Details

The STIHL MSA 120 C-B Battery Chainsaw offers great cutting performance, it is an excellent choice for pruning jobs, cutting small firewood and general garden tidy ups. This tool is light and maneuverable.

Designed to be quiet and extremely easy to use - the MSA 120 C-B starts with the simple push of a button, and has many of the same comfort features as the STIHL petrol models such as Quick Chain Tensioning for tool-less chain adjustments, and Ematic Chain Lubrication that results in longer wear and lower oil consumption.

The MSA 120 C-B comes with a domestic 2-year warranty and you'll have access to ongoing service and support from your local STIHL SHOP.

The MSA 120 C-B is part the STIHL AK Battery System the same battery can be used in a range of tools including a Hedge Trimmer, Blower, Line Trimmer and Lawn Mowers, giving you all the versatility you need.

Run time on recommended AK 20 Battery: 40 minutes or around 120 cuts

Run time on AK 10 battery: Up to 18 minutes - Battery not recommended

Run time on upgrade AK 30 battery: Up to 55 minutes or 150 cuts

Run times quoted are based on ideal operating conditions. Times will vary depending on load and conditions.

Tips

Looking after your Chainsaw

STIHL Chainsaws are built to last, you can extend the life of your Chainsaw even further by cleaning it after use with a damp cloth. Be sure to wipe off any debris such as wood chips.

Storing your Chainsaw

Keep your Chainsaw in a secure location away from the reach of children. Remove the battery when not in use, and place the scabbard over the bar to prevent accidental cuts or damage.

Staying safe

This model comes with a neutral battery position that, when engaged, will not allow the Chainsaw to start accidentally.

Sharpening your chain

You can purchase Chainsaw Sharpening Tools online, or visit your local STIHL SHOP for a chain sharpen.
